Identity theft!

    Someone has stolen my identity and set up a website and Facebook page with my name and photo. What can I do? The ‘fake’ web page is authorvictoriavane.com They are using my name, photo and bio and have linked the web site to a FAKE facebook page. What can I do??Please help!

    This is wordpress.COM support. We deal only with wordpress.COM issues and not any others. If a fake wordpress.COM blog has been created and your are being impersonated here then and only then our Terms of Service Staff can assist you, but they cannot help with Facebook support issues.

    Complaints like this one are not dealt with here on the public support forums. Only Terms of Service Staff have authority in such cases and their authority applies to blogs hosted by WordPress.COM, not to any others.

    If you are referring to authorvictoriavane.com, we unfortunately do not have access to that site because it is not hosted with WordPress.com.

    You can find out who own’s the domain/site and their contact information through the domain’s Whois data. I’d either reach out to them or the site host.
