    I received a letter from iDNS, Internet Domain Name Services, that states that I have until April 27, 2015 to pay $35 for a year renewal of my domain name, shadowandflamewithmagik.com but isn’t that why I’m paying WordPress to maintain my domain? I see that I don’t have to renew with you until July 21, 2015.
    Is this letter from iDNS a scam or am I going to lose my domain between April to July? I’m not sure how iDNS is involved in this. Maybe they are a partner with WordPress.

    I understand whoever reads this, it isn’t your fault – I’m just panicking a tad here.

    Hi!

    Your domain is registered with WordPress.com so you can safely ignore that message. Your domain is good through 8/20/15, and will automatically renew on 7/21/15 as you mention. You can see that here:

    Thanks! I was thinking it was probably scam (of a sort) but then I saw that iDNS had a Widget so I wasn’t sure if there was a partnership or something.

    Thanks again for the response! I’m throwing this nonsense away now.

    Can you clarify where you saw this? Your domain is good to go, but I’d like to double-check this reference!
