IE, FF, and Safari: disparate views of blog common?
-
Having looked at my blog with three browsers–IE, FF, and Safari–I see quite a disparity in the appearance of the blog, its layout, etc. Is this par for the course, or can I hope to adjust one without throwing the others out of kilter? IE and FF seem to fairly coincide, one with the other. Safari, however, is quite a bit off in text spacing, image alignment, etc., relative to the others.
Perhaps the rule of thumb for this issue is, “Leave well enough alone”?
As always, thanks to one and all…

That’s not just common; it’s inevitable. If you’re going to do your own CSS design, etc, you’re going to spend a LOT of time trying to make sure that things come up looking good, but you’ll never succeed in making them look all the same.
