IE users cannot upload content properly

    Hello wordpress.com

    I am a PM with the Ecosystem Engineering team at Microsoft and I wanted to get in contact with the right party that would deal with browser compatibility issues.

    As of now, wordpress.com’s browser detection logic cannot recognize IE11 properly and needs to account for the latest UA string:

    Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.3; Trident/7.0; rv 11.0) like Gecko

    Once connected with the right party, I can share all technical detail and steps to reproduce the bug.

    Hey,
    Did you get an answer.
    I just recently started using wordpress again and am having problems in IE11.
    So far I have only noticed the dropdowns don’t work.

    Is IE11 the latest stable version of the browser or is it a buggy BETA version? The latter are notorious for having bugs as they are still under development. Have you checked for known issues with that version? Have you tried using IE 10?
