IE8 error when searching for certain terms – jetpack .indexOf breaking the page
-
I’m getting an error when I search for certain things on my blog (only in IE8 of course) It looks like jetpack is using .indexOf on arrays (which breaks in IE8, it’s not available there).
Open this in IE8
http://help.eviti.com/?s=radiationHow do I fix this / get rid of Jetpack? (I’m not even using jetpack I have no idea what it is)
Thanks for the help.

Some JetPack solutions are here http://jetpack.me/support/
Others are in the JetPack support forum at WordPress.org
http://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpack
Note: If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.org, click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post there. However, if you can’t find help at either one then you can file a JetPack support ticket here > http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/?jetpack=needs-service

Thank you, I sent something to jetpack support hopefully they’ll be able to help.
Also, is there anyway to access my files via FTP?
I’d like to edit / remove some things directly… things that can’t be done through the dashboard.

This is the WordPress.com support forums. There is no FTP access to our blogs and we bloggers cannot install plugins.
Note: If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.org, click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, so you can post there.

I’m not sure why my company used this service, what the hell are we paying for if we can’t even access the FTP?? This is absurd.

There is free blog hosting at WordPress.com, as well as the free software to use at other hosting at WordPress.org. You can read about the differences here:
If your site is hosted elsewhere using Jetpack, you can delete the Jetpack plugin at any time. If your site is hosted here, you will not be running Jetpack as that is available only for self-hosted blogs.
I would strongly recommend that you upgrade your browser to a current version of IE as well, as you may experienced reduced functionality within IE 8.
