If got WordPress.com Premium plan, do I still need Jetpack Paid plan?

If I purchase a wordpress plan, like the Premium or Business one, do I still need the Jetpack for faster loading speed and performance? I mean, you are both belong to the same company, right? So the server will be the same server, huh? Also, there are some overlap feature between wordpress.com and Jetpack, so I am kind of confused here…
After viewing both descriptions online, I guess Premium WordPress.com account + free Jetpack can provide the best loading speed and performance (although no backups), is that the fact?

The JetPack plugin, either free or upgraded is something only available for sites hosted elsewhere and using the WordPress.org software. Many features found in JetPack are already built into WordPress.com as standard.

As @themagicrobot mentioned, if you’re hosting your site on WordPress.com, the JetPack Essential Features are already a part of your site by default for all the plans.
Except for the JetPack Search, that allows a faster more advanced sitewide search, only included in the Business Plan, you don’t need to worry about buying any JetPack Features separately on WordPress.com even if you don’t purchase any plan.
