if i add a domain name, can people still search for and use my wordpress one?

  I would like to add wellgreen.com as a domain name but lots of people already know and use the wellgreen.wordpress.com name. If they use the wordpress name after I add a domain name, will everything still work as before?

  Of course, everything will redirect to the new domain.

  Think of the domain as a fancy new coat for your existing blog.
