If I buy the "Add a Domain" option will my blog retain its apperance and content

I currently operate the blog http://finsfeathershorns.wordpress.com/ and I would like to buy the “Add a Domain” option for $17. If I do this, will my blog look and work the same? Or will I need to recreate the blog?
Also, will my content remain the same?
Finally, will purchasing the domain give my the ability to add more widgets and tools to the blog?

Your blog will remain the same, only it will also be available at your new domain name. :-)
The domain upgrade allows your readers to visit your site via a custom domain name — it doesn’t include other features.
