No. The content stays where it is and the URLs change.
You cannot edit any URL but you can change the blog address ie. the URL starting with http://. You must be logged in as Admin under the exact same username account that registered the blog to do that and the URL you desire must be available. If so then you can change the URL by using this guide http://en.support.wordpress.com/changing-blog-address/ Look closely at the image to find the correct My Blogs location

No. You can have Staff move your subscribers for you by posting both URLs into a forum thread like this one. http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/moving-your-subscribers/#wordpress-com-site-to%C2%A0wordpress-com-site

Thanks, I did read the article, but I just wasn’t clear on it still. So all of my post will automatically change to the new wordpress.com address with the existing extensions after it?
It just means that anywhere I have created referral links I will have to update to the new URL?

If you want my advice then it is: Don’t do this. Google has already indexed your site and the blog URL is a good one. Changing the URL is not likely to result in a benefit of any kind at all, unless you intend to bulk delete the content and use the blog for an entirely different purpose.

I don’t intend to do what you mentioned. I just decided that the blog took more of a personal turn than I had planned and I wanted to change it to “it’s my round” instead of “its your round” to reflect that before I had much of a following. You think it is not worth it though?

You will lose ALL your ranking in search engines. I suggest not bothering with the change.
