If I change my DNS……

  to ns1.wordpress.com and get the upgrade, how is that going to effect my sub-domains I already have? I have photos.mysite.com. If I change DNS like I am told, wont that change where photos is pointed to? I am only wanting to point mysite.com to WordPress…not the sub-domains.
