if i change permalink

  if i change permalink of my post like my post title is ‘hello world and my friends’ and i shrink the permalink from ‘hello world and my friends’ to ‘hello world’ and i indexed url in google search console so in google it shows only ‘hello world’ or ‘hello world and my friends’.

  Google cannot index the web in real-time, but it will eventually correct the indexed URL for that post.

  Meanwhile, the post’s old URL will redirect to the new URL.

  Hi @harishdulhani04, I’m not sure I follow: it does seem Google Console will show whatever was current when it last checked the site, though. Are you running into trouble with that?

  Also, if you already have SEO for a given link, I’d recommend against changing it, since we don’t currently have a way to redirect individual pages.

  the title will remain same in google search results which is present on post title if i change url slug ?
