  If I delete a post, are the images deleted from the media library?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  They are not.

  Deleting images from the library does cause them to break in any post that references them, though.

  Is it possible to see which images are unlinked? I seem to remember doing something like this on a self-hosted WordPress site.

  Sure. Go to https://billbennettnz.wordpress.com/wp-admin/upload.php and select unattached.

  Just be careful about any bulk deletions. Cheers!
