If I delete, can I launch a site with same name again?

I decided not to proceed with my account for now. I never created any content. If I delete my account, can I still subscribe with the same name (given it is not taken)? Or should I just keep the account? In that case, can anyone see it?

Hi there,
I would recommend keeping it as is and just setting your site to private. If you delete, you will not be able to use the same address/url again in the near future. The only exception would be if it has been deleted two or more years ago and has no username or other technical conflicts.
You can set your site to private My Site>Settings>Privacy.
