If I delete my blog on wordpress.com will that effect my blog on a WordPress.org

I want to delete my blog on WordPress.com. But I have websites with WordPress installed on them (hosted by Godaddy). Will deleting my WordPress.com blog effect the other sites? I am using widgets and plugins and Jetpack–will those be effected?

The two are not connected in any way but I suggest you make the wordpress.com blog “private” and then you can periodically export the content out of your wordpress.org site and import it into your wordpress.com blog. The result will be a backup blog that may one day prove to be very handy.Deleted blog URLs here are not recycled. That’s why 3 warnings are given and why a vertfication link in an email that must be clicked is sent in order to accomplish deletion.
