If I delete my site does it cancel the domain?

  I am trying to delete my site. I am aware that it’s unfortunately too late to get a refund on the purchase, but I want to make sure that I won’t be charged next year for the domain name. Is that true? Is deleting the best way to do this?

  Your domain will expire at 2015-02-19 and won’t be auto-renewed.

  I would like to cancel the expiration of my domain in 2015…is it possible to keep my site and have it auto renewed?

  I’ve just enabled auto renew on your upgrade. If you ever want to turn it off, you can do so at https://leahs1.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=my-upgrades
