If I do a monthly Personal Plan, can I keep my design from another web host?
-
I have a GoDaddy site that was free to build, but now it is coming up for a monthly service and I don’t want to use them. They say I will lose everything I have built with their free service, unless I stick with their web hosting. Is there anyway to save the site I have created?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
You should be able to export your content from your GoDaddy site, provided you used the WordPress software or another content management system that allows exports, but you won’t be able to import the theme/design you used with them.
You can find instructions how to import content to WordPress.com from several other systems here:

Does a WordPress Personal plan allow me to use/associate my own domain name that I already own or do I need to have a Premium plan for that?
-
Yes. There are 3 ways to add a custom domain to your blog. Please note that an active WordPress.com plan is required to add a custom domain to your site. https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/#getting-started
WordPress.com does not accept domain transfers but mapping an existing domain is possible. http://support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/map-existing-domain/ The domain or mapping of any existing domain URL is included in the pricing for a personal upgrade, a premium and a business upgrade. The WordPress.COM upgrade for mapping a domain must be renewed annually.

You’ll be able to connect your domain name with the Personal Plan, as @timethief also said above.
