If I downgrade to free plan

    Hey guys

    So I have a question. I have no plans on doing this any time currently but if I downgrade my package back to the free plan and I make a theme purchase sometime soon will the theme come with me and will I be able to keep it as I paid full price for it.
    Can someone answer that question

    Hi there,

    If you are upgraded to any of the WordPress.com Plans or not, it does not matter because once you purchase the theme it never expires even if you downgrade your site to a “Free Plan” or Upgrade to any plan.

    Yes! you’ll be able to use it even if you downgrade your WordPress.com plan.

    I would also like to mention that, If you upgrade your WordPress.com site with a “Premium Plan” then you get “Unlimited access to all the Premium Themes”, so you do not need to purchase any Theme separately.

    Hi there,

    To clarify something to @vishalmukadam’s reply. The premium them will only be available for use on your WordPress.com site. You won’t be able to download and use on a site hosted elsewhere.
