If I export, do I lose the original blog

  Hi..!

  I have a blog on wordpress.com called: http://subbaiyer.wordpress.com.

  I am in the process of creating 2 hosted blogs on WordPress and importing some of the posts into these 2 blogs to attract a wider audience.

  I have 2 specific questions:

  If I export the posts and pages from my current blog, does my current blog exist or does it disappear?

  Is there any way to select specific posts and import to each of the new blogs?
