If I get a message on my Home Page that says: "This page does not exist." can I
-
Yesterday I moved my post from my Home Page to my About Page. When I cleared the Home Page, I used the “move to trash” button. OOPS! Is there any way I can repair this damage, or am I now “homeless?” Thank you.

Homeless is relative – but it looks like you deleted the “Hello World” Post – try making a new Post (not Page) and see if that fixes your “Homeless” status

It’s impossible to delete a Home page on a WordPress.com blog. auxclass is right on. When you delete the Hello World placeholder post you get a 404 (page not found) error on the front page of the blog. http://en.support.wordpress.com/not-found/ Not to worry because as soon as you publish a post, not a page it will disappear. http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/

Thank you both for bailing me out. Appreciate the support links. This gave me the info I needed to think through how I want to use the Front Page. Very helpful. So good to know I still have a roof over my head.
