If I get a new theme will it delete all my previous site material?

    I am trying to install a new theme on my website. If I put in a new theme will all of the content on my site be erased?

    If you self host, ask your questions on the WordPress.org forum. Blogs here at WordPress.com run under a different software.

    But it’s always best to save what you have on your sidebars especially what’s on text widgets. You won’t lose posts or things like that. But days ago I was trying out new themes at WordPress.com and I lost some of my widgets. But it’s alays best to save what’s on text widgets before any changes.
