If i go from example.wordpress.com to example.com, will the original link work?

    I am writing in question re: my 100daysofbones.wordpress.com blog. I am interested in now purchasing the 100daysofbones.com domain through wordpress for this blog, but i am wondering if when i do that, if the original 100daysofbones.wordpress.com links that people have saved in their favorites for example, will still work for them. Will they just be redirected to the right link or something?
