  I want to use a plug in called easy video suite which says it is compatible with wordpress. The first thing is can i do it with a regular account and can I switch to wordpress.org if I have to, as it says in your help notes that wordpress.com (my current platform) does not accept plug ins?

  No plugins on .com, at all.

  You can’t really just ‘switch’ to .org — you have to have a web hosting account with any of the hundreds of web hosting services out there and install the WP software on that account.
