If I map my domain can I Transfer it at a later stage?

  I’d like to transfer my domain but I am unable to because I bought it with GoDaddy less than 60 days ago. So I don’t have to wait that long to start building my website, can I map my domain for now and then transfer my domain entirely at a later stage?

  Yes. If you want to use WordPress.com to make a website then with a Personal plan or higher you could map your new domain to a WordPress.com site. https://wordpress.com/pricing/
