If I name a site and delete it, can someone use that name in the future?
-
I don’t like the way my site is progressing, so I want to delete it and start over using HTML. However, I’m working on a site for an organization. I don’t want to make the name unavailable in the future. If my current site is named caresforyouth255956896.wordpress.com, and I delete it, will no version of caresforyouth<number>.wordpress.com be available in the future? Does deleting my site make ‘caresforyouth’ unavailable as a site name for anyone else, ever? Thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Deleting a site permanently removes it and you (or any one else) will never be able to re-use its exact WordPress.com address (such as caresforyouth.wordpress.com). Other variations may be available but that exact name will remain deleted and cannot be given to another user.Resources: https://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/ and https://en.support.wordpress.com/create-a-blog/#additional-info

caresforyouth255956896.wordpress.com is no longer available.
The authors have deleted this site.I see you have already deleted that site. There is no need to delete a site to start again. It is quite easy to empty a site of content via “Settings”.
PS: You could of course use the domain name of your choice with a paid for custom domain with a different suffix rather than .wordpress.com. And with a free site you don’t have to have nine numbers. One number would have worked just fine.
