If I publish a new page, will an email be sent to my followers?

  If I publish a new page, will an email be sent to my followers like it is when I publish a new post? If yes, is there a way I can stop that? I want to publish a new page but I do not want my followers being updated on this.

  That doesn’t usually happen, an email is only sent when do a new post.
