If I purchase a .com will it still operate like a wordpress site?

  I am setting up a blog page and the address I need to use is already taken for the free wordpress site. It did give me the option to purchase a .com or .org, but if I do that will it still look like a wordpress site with all of the same blogging tools? That is what I am familiar with so I will need that.

  Yes, your blog will look exactly the same and you will have all the same tools. :)
