If I purchase a domain from WP for 26 bucks, what do I receive?

    What functionality do I receive if I purchase a WP domain for 26 bucks? Would I be able to create and edit the html for my page?

    Are you interested in doing more than you can do with HTML in the text view of your post and page editor through WordPress.com?

    If you’re talking about uploading complete html files, you can’t do that on WordPress.com, even with a domain purchased here. You’d need to have a WordPress.org self-hosted site to be able to upload independent html files. A domain purchased from WordPress.com would give you a custom URL, like lestermacgurdy.com.
