If I purchase the domain name suggeseted, will the free domain links still work?

  Will my free domain address work if i purchase the domain? I have hard copy media with the cruizerscarclub.wordpress.com link on it, if I purchase the cruizerscarclub.com for $18 will the old free address still work?
