If I register a domain through wordpress.com do I need to include domain mapping

  I see that WordPress.com doesn’t allow me to transfer my domain to WordPress.com.

  If I register another domain through WordPress.com, do I still need to pay the domain mapping upgrade?

  I ask because if I register through WordPress.com a domain and receive the domain mapping upgrade, I’ll pay US$ 18 per year.

  Now if I need to register my new domain through WordPress.com and include another domain mapping, that will be US$18,00 + US$ 13,00 per year = US$ 31,00 per year.

  I already pay the domain mapping upgrade. So I would get charged 2x 13,00 + US$18,00 (new domain) + my current domain = US$ 44,00 to WordPress.com right?

  No the domain mapping would be included for $18/year with public registration and $26/year for private registration.
