If I "register" own domain through you, what ongoing support do I get from WP??

    I want to register/ buy an own domain – what support does WordPress give me? E,g, can I write posts or pages on my own domain using your support tools – such as New posts/ edit Posts/ upload images etc.???
    How do I get my existing Posts from WordPress.com on to my own domain?

    I understand Privacy is an issue – I do not need to have full privacy, but it would be awkward if any ordinary visitor can just see who I am by just looking on my domain or by pressing a button??

    It’s actually much simpler than that. Think of the new domain as a fancy new coat for your existing blog. Nothing else changes.

    As for Private Registration, law requires a registrant’s name, phone number, and mailing address to be publicly available via a WHOIS record search. Private Registration elects a third-party to hold your domain, thus displaying their information rather than yours.
