If I start another blog can the world see that the blogs are linked? I have been adding pages to my blog about various subjects but I am thinking of starting a “specialist” blog where I will be less anonymous. I do not want the new blog to expose links to the old one. Is this possible or do I need to start a new WordPress identity?

If you want to keep them separate then open a new account and then add the new blog to the new account – all you need is a second email address –
You can add your first account to the new blog if you want to do some Admin stuff with one log in
