If i switch from wordpress.com to wordpress.org will i lose my SEO rank?

  If i switch from wordpress.com to wordpress.org will i lose my SEO ranking?

  I want to make the switch since you can make more money apparently but i don’t want to lose what ranking i have already!

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Yes, you will. The issue is not so much moving off WP.com as changing your URL. Any time you change the URL you start again from zero, which is why we advise everyone to start with a custom domain if they can. That way when they move, their googlejuice moves with them.

  Does that mean if I upgrade ill lose my rankings too?

  No, you don’t, because when you get a custom domain your blog suddenly has two addresses, the old and the new, and both work. You lose pagerank at first but over four or five months gain it all back and then you can transfer your blog whenever you want and it’s all good, all your googlejuice is attached to the new custom domain, so it goes wherever your new blog goes.
