If I switch to wordpress.org, how easy is it to switch back to wordpress.com if needed?

  I am looking into web hosting and wanted to be clear about two things before I move forward:

  1) If for some reason I decide to stop hosting at wordpress.org, how easy is the transfer back to free wordpress? (Is it possible?)

  2) I am making the transfer in order to enable monetization of my blog and posting ads. Choosing a web host (i.e. go daddy) will enable this, correct?

  2. Yes, you’ll be able to use advertising on a self-hosted blog.
