If I upgrade to premium, how can I get a domain credit?

Hi, I’d like to upgrade to premium
and wanna have a new domain to remove wordpress.com
    instead of ssmdxdesign.wordpress.com
when I upgrade to premium, then it just removes wordpress.com? or I can add a totally new one?
also wanna know how to add a domain if i upgrade to premium
because i already once did with premium but when i tried to add a domain, but it showed wordpress is going to charge $18 and it wasn’t free, so I cancelled the premium. A domain credit exists?
    Thanks.

    Hi there,

Please note that to remove the “.wordpress.com” at the end of your domain, you can do that by adding a custom domain. As a part of WordPress.com Premium, you get a custom domain. You will not have to pay the extra $18-$26 (if you want Private Registration) to add a custom domain.

The last I checked, I found that the domain: ssmdxdesign.com was available! You can register this domain by going to Store > My Domains in your Dashboard. You can find more information about this here:

    Register a New Domain

After looking into your account, I found that you did cancel/refund WordPress.com Premium a couple days ago, but you added it back on earlier today.

Feel free to reach out if you have any questions!
