If I upgrade, will my old "free" address forward?

    I am looking to upgrade from a free plan to maybe premium. My question is if I change from “realjacobairey.wordpress” to just “realjacobairey” will the old links forward to their new domain? I have shared a lot of my old posts and I want my readers to be able to find me when I upgrade.

    Yes, if you were to purchase the premium plan and added a custom domain to your site, whoever types in realjacobairey.wordpress.com will automatically be forwarded to your new primary domain.
