    If I use Microsoft OneDrive Excel Web App
    to embed an Excel document on my WordPress pages, will I be able to add information to it and will viewers be able to search it for titles, authors, etc.

    In order to embed a spreadsheet into your WordPress.com site, you will have to utilize a Google Docs spreadsheet. Info below:

    Your OneDrive Excel Web App cannot be integrated into your pages or posts.

    If using the Web App is a must, then you may consider moving from your WordPress.com site, to a self-hosted version of WordPress. Self-hosting your own site allows for more flexibility when it comes to adding third-party code into your pages/posts. Here are the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org sites:
