Looking at the blog, in your browser chose View > Source
Then check the second line of the code you see, and then work out what those 2 letters mean.You can do that in BOTD by checking the url’s when hovering the list on the right.

and how do i get the page viewed back to the state it was in before clicking on “source”?
how do i get to see the page in normal mode?
it’s shadowed [source] and not clickable to return to normal!
slight paniceven though i chose a blog that was in, i think Spanish it shows English [lang=”en”]

if you go to google translate, it’ll translate the entire blog once you input url.

By the way, why would you want to leave a comment on a blog if you don’t even know the language, which would mean that you don’t even know what the blogger is saying???? :P

I dont know that you have to worry about this on wordpress blogs, but:

someone left a response in English and when i went to their blog it was in heavens knows what but i had a response for them
it was in a post on support that was hundreds of comments long and also way out of date.
also i’m interested to see what languages some of these blogs are in
i landed on a Greek blog in a discussion to do with freedom of speech?
Some avatars are so striking that i have to take a look at the site and i want to let them know
also the diesign of some of them is amazing
i want to know what non english speakers talk about on their blogsi’m a strong beleiver in the importance of hearing people express themselves in their first language
i learnt this when i listened to the truth and reconciliation hearings a few years ago when for the first time ever i was listening to black south africans speaking in their languages with simultaneous translations
it was terrible to listen to but i was so touched by the gentleness and respectfulness of their language compared to the harsh english and africaans [kind of dutch] words.
english sounded so aggressive – i wept a lot listening to them but i felt i had to listen to hear what they went through and the unspeakable atrocities they were subjected to. Human nature has such potential to manifest a dreadful dark side and also the potential for such magnificence. -
