  If I wanted to get my own domain from .wordpress.com to just .com do I get paid? And how well do I get paid quantifiable by my host’s

  Do you get paid? No, you have to pay: first, to buy the domain name, which is $5 if you buy it from WordPress, and then $13 to map it to the blog. These are annual fees.

  Where did you get the idea you got paid to have a custom domain.

  You also need a bit more traffic than 200 page views in what looks like 7 months
