If my account is private???
-
Am I understanding it correctly that if I have my blog set as private then anyone I invite to view it must have a wordpress.com account? On the flip side, If I set it to public and check Facebook then does it post for everyone to see automatically or do they have to click? I am a bit confused and do not want to shove this down anyone’s face.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It’s not required to have a WordPress.com account to accept an invitation to view a private WordPress blog. Send an invite to another email address you have or a friend and see how it works.
If your blog is public and you connect it to your Facebook, by default all posts you publish from that point on will show up on your friends’ Facebook feeds. It is possible to choose what you share by remembering to uncheck the Facebook service in the Publicize area of the Publish box. See here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/publicize/#using-publicize Try sharing one post and see what happens. Ask a friend or two what they think.
Another option is to share your posts manually, when you choose, to your Facebook friends by way of a status update.
