If my domain name is not on auto-renew, will it expire?
-
I do not want to renew my domain name registration (purgud.com). It looks like there is no way to cancel it. Can I just let it expire? And if so, will I still be able to access my content at purgud.wordpress.com?

Hi there,
Currently, the domain purgud.com is set to expire on 9/3/14 and is not set to auto renew meaning you will not automatically be charged going forward.
All of your content will be available at purgud.wordpress.com. Once the domain expires, you’ll just need to change the primary domain on your account here:
purgud.wordpress.com
Within two days of the expiration date, you should be able to cancel the domain for good here:
https://purgud.wordpress.com/wp-admin/paid-upgrades.php?page=my-upgrades
Alternatively, I’m also happy to remove it from your account immediately. Just reply back to confirm!
Please note, once a domain expires or is cancelled, it is sent back to the registrar. It may or may not become available for purchase again in the future.
