Hi there,
Something happened with my personal blog, hope I can get some help from the community. I had less problems blogging 20 years ago than now.
So here is the issue, I checked my site is up and running but with 404 response code. Please help.
Kind Regards,

Hi there,
Would you mind sharing your site URL so we can better assist you? Thank you.
Would you be able to share what has happened before this error showed up? What was the last change? Was there any post edited? Thank you!

Hi csabarakas,
My original site’s URL is “irisdingling.wordpress.com”. There was one additional mirror site created to back up the contents.
Timeline:
Sometime after the post on the 22 May 2021, I switch to private mode for a short break.Around 1 Jun 2021, I have switched back to public mode.
However, when I tried to load the site on my iPhone on the 2 Jun 2021, it said “That page can’t be found”. Ever since then I have not made any changes to my original site as it cannot load properly.
It was around Sunday, 06 Jun 2021, I discovered it cannot load on my laptop, but it was back to normal now.
What was the last change?
Last change will be around 2 Jun 2021.Was there any post edited?
I did not modify anything since my last post on 2 Jun 2021, I normally finalise my post on the same day and do not check back because this is just a low traffic personal blog. And I do not have other subscription services set up with it. Rest, I am not sure, I am still quite new to WordPress.Thank you very much for your help in advance. Hope the above information is sufficient.
Kind Regards,

Just to add to the previous post. All the answers regarding timeline and changes are related to the original site “irisdingling.wordpress.com”.
Thank you so much for your help in advance.
Cheers,

Thank you so much for the detailed additional info. Very hepful.
I looked at your website and the good thing is, that the other posts are still there. (They show up if you search for them.)
Often this happens, when the homepage settings gets mixed up.
Please Click on My Site > Scroll down to Appearance, > then click on Customize.
Locate the Homepage Settings option. Looks something like this:

Check what is marked at the “Your homepage displays”?
If it is: “Your latest posts”, that should be good!
If it is on “A static page”, you will have to check what is marked as “Homepage” below it. Whatever is marked, you have to check that that page indeed exists and works well.Let’s try this first. If this doesn’t help, we can continue troubleshooting :)
