    If this is the free site what did I have to pay for .it blocking saying I owe 116 for a charge back .why I’m on the free part

    Hi there,

    Hosting on WordPress.com is free, but you purchased a premium theme for $75. We offer free themes as well.

    You filed a dispute with either PayPal or your bank, so we have issued you a charge back fee.

    Can you please contact your bank or credit card company and ask them to cancel the dispute. If you’re able to do that and they haven’t refunded the charge yet, we’ll be able to remove the chargeback fee and issue you a refund which would take 7-10 business days. However, if the chargeback has already been completed, i.e. your bank is refunding you, then you will need to pay the fee to unlock your site and disputes can take a long time, so you could possible not receive your refund for up to 75 days. Please let me know if you’re able to cancel the dispute with your bank.

    Your stats and your content are all safe. But because chargebacks are a very serious matter we lock any site with a pending chargeback until the matter is resolved. You can find more information here:

    Well I take my money real serious and I was unaware that there was a charge so I canceled my WordPress de. Say free and that was years ago .BUT YES I DID CALL MY BANK FOR THE CHARGE BECAUSE I WAS UNAWARE THERE WAS A CHARGE ONLY USED 2 TIMES TO SET UP .BUT NOW I DONT THINK THIS WAS FAIR TO ME THAT I WASNT TOLD ABOUT A FEE TO SEE ON MY BANK STATEMENT WAS ONLY THE WRITE THING TO DO I COULD SET UP ANOTHER BUT FAIR IS FAIR

    You should’ve received an email regarding paying he chargeback fee of $20. Once you pay that fee, the block from your account will be lifted.
