If you could change one thing about your theme, what would it be?

    I use zBench, but my request applies to these other themes as well:
    Coraline, Enterprise, Fusion, Greyzed, iNove, Monochrome, Neutra, Notepad, Structure, Twenty Ten, Wu Wei—
    Tables will automatically show up with visible cell borders – even if you write <table border="0"> in the code.
    Having a default is fine, disabling a standard html tag is not.

    to over-ride, you write:
    <table style="border:none;">
    and then this, for each td tag:
    <td style="border:none;">

    I use Fadtastic, which I find very flexible with searching and archiving widgets. However, the look is a bit boring. I’d like to be able to change the color and maybe put in a photo or banner of some kind.

    I also have a blog that uses Titan. I’d like to be able to independently select how many posts show up in the categories versus the main page number, etc. Right now, if I show “10 posts”, everything is set to 10 posts – how many show up when they search, the last 10 updated and so on. I’d also like to change the color from brown.

    Thanks

    I use Vigilance. I’d like to be able to increase the font size or have a default font size that is bigger. The current font size is too small, especially for longer posts. Otherwise, it’s an attractive and user-friendly theme. Thanks for soliciting input!

    I have forgotten what my theme is called but i wish it came in another colour. its green and Im not keen on green!

    I LIKE the large font of 2010 and the dark font color, that makes it easy to read – many Themes have sort of gray and other light colors – my choice of 2010 was influenced greatly by the font – I would have preferred Ariel but I guess nothing is perfect.

    I’m using the theme Spectrum. I love it, but wish the comments were at the bottom of the post and not at the top. It’s inconvenient for readers to be required to scroll back up to the top of the post in order to leave a comment. Maybe comment location could become an option?

    I am using Motion by 85ideas for our Impressioni musicali blog.

    I would like only last post to appear on the home page.

    I would also love the RSS option section to be optional on top of the front page.

    Thank you

    Thanks for answering! :-)

    I’ve never really been big on blogs, and recently I started one up out of sheer curiosity. Anyways, one thing I would like to have would be a calendar and a real-time analog clock on the front page of my WordPress, probably on the upper right-hand side of the top bar.

    All themes: options 1-2-3-4 columns. customize column widths & fix or flex. customize header height (or auto depending on img size). free colors, header image, background image. customize all fonts (css). free order for header, title, menu bar (or list), optional footer. customized content in side columns on different pages.
    basically only one simple “frame” is needed. the lay-out is built up with “boxes” (similar to widgets) for all different contents which are placed in an almost free order. once you done the layout you can name and save it as your own template, so you can have several to choose. to that a big gallery with pictures for headers and backgrounds for those who have no pics of their own, free to use in any layout.
    pages to publish a gallery of “my pictures” & list of “my documents”. in the library a check box for publish/hide.

    As I stumble upon a WP Blog and I really like the layout of this blog page, It would be nice to be able to see what theme is being used.

    I would love to be able to place any widget I want on any PAGE of my site, instead of only being allowed to be on a side bar. For example: “Browse Relationships” is a main category, but I do NOT want all of the sub categories on my side bar – I would LOVE to place some on the appropriate page, such as the Relationships page.

    @jpmacdonell You can. For me, it’s all the way at the bottom, but above the RSS, RSS Comments, and Blog at WordPress.com buttons. The placement may vary from theme to theme. On your blog it is all the way at the bottom, next to Blog at WordPress.com. You use Modularity Lite.

    And, even though I posted before about wanting a custom menu, I thought of something else Green Marinee doesn’t have a place for a tagline. Oh, under settings>general I can create a tagline, but it doesn’t show up. I find this a crucial part of a blog (the name of my blog is my name, and doesn’t show that I blog about writing advice), and hope it may be added to Green Marinee soon.

    I’m using Oulipo.

    There are several minor changes I’d like to see, but the first is adding “Next Post” and “Previous post” to the bottom of the page when a viewer is looking at a single post.

    I know you said one, but can I list one more?

    …I wish the search feature came up with titles of posts, and not the entire post. When you have many photo-heavy posts per month, the ability to search through archives is limited. Especially in Oulipo, when the only way to find a post in say, early November 2009, is to either wade back through the archives, scrolling down and clicking on “previous posts” again and again, or to click the sidebar calendar all the way back, month by month, to where you want to be. It’s very tedious. People who read my blog have a hard time finding old posts for this reason. Me too!

    I use Inove, Would love to have a footer capable of holding widgets when the sidebars are disabled !!!

    I would insert one word in the comment form. The word I would add is “optional” next to the Website field. Without the word optional, people get confused and they sometime insert website addresses which are just not necessary.

    I am using Twenty Ten, which i am happy with, apart from the link on the bottom of the page for people to click on for “older posts”. It is tiny, and hardly noticeable, and so may be missed by many who don’t realise there are more pages than the one they are on.

    I use Albeo but have no use for the entries and comments RSS feeds at the top. They lead to nothing on my blog and I’d love to have a way to remove them. Thanks!!

    I use the zBench Theme, and the main problem I have is that my text size is so tiny compared to the 2010 theme. I would like it to be a couple of points larger font size than it is now. I know that I can use the ctrl & + keys on my keyboard, to make it larger, but I would rather not have to since it makes the whole screen larger. Thanks!

    On any theme, I would like a widget for displaying in the sidebar the current time and date.
