If you could change one thing about your theme, what would it be?
-
I’m using Bueno and my number one wish would be to have an invisible title so my use of a custom header doesn’t make me anonymous. Beyond that, I agree with everyone else here using Bueno – ability to darken content font, a compact icon bar for RSS, Facebook, Twitter, Flikr, etc, and definitely control over the black varsity-style font that screams in caps at my readers from the menu and sidebar would be nice.
Thanks for taking our wishlists into account!

Fusion–I love the translucent background pages. Could we add our own background image, and you make it translucent (to Fusion)?
-
I use Coraline. I’d like it to have a sans-serif font, black in colour, in a bit bigger size. There are many other Themes I would like to use, but I really prefer that the Category widget displays full posts, not post summaries. Perhaps that could be an option…

One thing? I’m using Green Marinee (who would have though such a streamlined theme went well with writing advice?), and at the moment it does not have a custom menu. Oddly, I can still make pages, but I must link to them on my sidebar if I want them to be visible!
I just want to say the Theme Team does a wonderful job. Keep up the good work!

Thank you for asking! Alas, I don’t have one request.
1. Archive and link pages built into every theme, so I could keep the clutter on my first page minimized. If I could pick only one thing, this would be it.
2. A section below each post with a “if you liked this post you might like” section. It would contain three thumbnails and link to 3 of my own posts in the same category.
3. Ability to select width of the post.
4. Ability to “like” a comment.
5. Commenluv, where the last post title of a commenter’s site is displayed and automatically hyperlinked
6. The ability to swap in my own graphics in a theme to replace those that come loaded with a style. For example, I love the Spring Loaded theme and would likely use it if I could put in my own header. Or I love the Paper Punch theme style, but don’t want the cross hatched texture at the top of each post/widget.

Font size – Theme width – Image size coordination with WordPress app for iPhone.
Font Size
I know the CSS for the themes is fixed but oft times the default font, especially for the body, is too small. I’d love the ability to, universally, increase or decrease the font sizes for the site:
H1 = +2
H2 = 0
Paragraph = +1
etc.Theme Width
Secondly, the default width of many sites is stupefyingly thin. Are monitors getting thinner or smaller? No. They’re getting wider. So I generally choose flexible width themes to take advantage of the width of the screen. (All the Windows users I know browse full screen, so, side to side it’s 1024 or wider) I’d love, love, love the ability to manually dial in a wider, fixed width. So those people browsing my site don’t have a 1920 width screen with a single 600 pixel across image in the middle. It looks like a joke. But the default width of fixed width themes is too small, so I have to choose a flexible width theme.
Having the ability to set the width of both the columns and the main blogging area would be the best.WordPress.com & iOS app
Lastly, posting photos from the WordPress app (I only have used the iOS version) is a joke. WordPress.com gives us the ability to set small, medium and large standard sizes. The iOS ap completely ignores them. So if I say 600 pixels across on WordPress.com the iOS app throws something up at 640×480. wtf?
I’d like the two parts of WordPress to work together so I can set an image to be small/thumbnail, medium, large or original in the iOS app and it calls up those sizes properly from WordPress.com. Or it loads them into preferences in the iOS app and keeps them there. So that when I say upload at Medium, it knows what size that is, resizes my photo in the iOS app and then pushes that smaller file to WP.com.
Moreover, I’d like to be able to set preferences in the iOS app. For instance, like whether to link to the original file, or not. That only makes sense if I am uploading the FULL image and presenting a smaller version on the blog page. Currently there’s NO way to automatically facilitate that via the iOS, e-mail, etc. It has to be done on a computer, with the full image already uploaded to the blog.– – –
Lastly, thanks for offering this opportunity for feedback. I’d love to see a future post about the most requested features, and then even give us a poll to let us pick what are the features we’d like WP.com to work on first.
This is a vast departure from the normal WordPress policy of: “we came up with something you didn’t ask for, but we think is cool, and we went ahead installed it on your blog and turned it on without you knowing. Aren’t we great? Oh, and if you don’t want it, you can hunt down instructions to turn it off someplace else.”

Thanks for asking. I am using the Inuit Types Theme with a CSS upgrade.
I would like to have the option to hide the blog title and description without removing them from the general setting so I could put them in a header and insert it in the intro box. If I do that now by just leaving them blank in General Settings, I believe they won’t show up to search engines – not a good thing.
Maybe I can do this with a CSS upgrade, but not sure. It would be nice if this option were generally available on all themes.

for Bueno i wish the pink was more of a hot pink, as it is an odd colour so doesn’t match much
but other than that i love it! -
Ability to set the default font – for any theme, really – without needing the CSS upgrade.
(Really, if I find what is otherwise the *perfect* theme, I have to upgrade or change to something else bc I hate that it defaults to the screen-unfriendly Times New Roman font? Grr!)

I use DePo Masthead. If I could change something, it would be the font and color of the font. Love it, but maybe sometimes I am in the mood for something other than red!
-
I use Titan. If I could change one thing, I’d like to be able to have “next” & “previous” options when viewing a single post. Instead of having to go back to “Home”.
Thanks for asking! :o) -
I would remove html tags in the Comment form. They are never used as most people have no knowledge of html (even if they had knowledge, typing tags is extra work for someone who is only commenting).
-
Depo Masthead – Currently Depo Masthead is set as a columned newspaper, which is GREAT. The problem is, as you add tags to your post, the post moves up and down in its vertical orientation within the column, rendering the headings all offset. Hubby thinks this is natural, and much like a REAL newspaper. I, respectfully, disagree. For those of us who are visual learners and live to have everything in life aligned linearly, would you please consider moving the tags block BELOW the post header or at the bottom of the individual post. This would render all the post titles nice and neat in a cool little row. Imagine!!! :) Love you guys.

I’m shocked that there is still nothing to distinguish comment links in Redoable Lite from the text around them. I reported this bug years ago as it made the theme unusable for me, genuinely surprised it was never fixed.
In general, all themes should honour admin-set options like taglines or date formats unless there is a good reason (e.g. calendar-style dates). Display of the author’s name should also be determined in dashboard settings rather than according to theme, allowing multi-author blogs to use any theme and single authors to choose whether they want their name to be shown.

I wouldn’t change a thing, but I would like to add a calendar of events such as is possible with a wordpress.org website. It is a plug-in for .org and I would really like to have it for my .com blog. Thanks – The Catskill Chronicle

I’d like the font size to be reduced. Especially the right-hand column. The page would look cleaner with more white space.
Thanks! -
Simple & short, I definitely want to get rid of the tags that are shown in the bottom of my theme…
-
I’m using Misty Look… because I know ZERO about doing anything beyond typing and posting photos…
I would love to be able to have a ‘Print Box’ inside a post that would allow a user to print only a recipe and not the entire post and photos. Maybe this exists in some other theme, and I just haven’t found it… Help?
