iframe (non-google) Calendar Embedding…
-
Hello WordPress,
I am getting really frustrated because you don’t support iframe embedding. I get that for “security reasons” you don’t support it, but if I can’t find a way to embed my non-google calendar, I will probably just find another website host. I hope you understand my predicament. I don’t want to convert my 30 boxes calendar to a google one. Is there an easy solution besides finding another host?
Thank you,
Jen

Hi Jen – I’m sorry for the frustration! We don’t currently support embedding from that calendar service, so there’s no way around it. I will add it to our list of ideas for possible future updates, though.
Meanwhile, you could link to the calendar where it’s posted elsewhere. Otherwise, you could indeed move to a self-hosted site. To move your blog to a self-hosted site, you’ll first need to obtain web hosting. We have some recommendations here:

Hi eurello,
Thank you for your timely response and candor. Honestly, it’s the only complaint I’ve had using WordPress, so I really appreciate it. Sorry I was just a bit taxed in trying to figure it out, but I understand it’s for the protection of the site.
Sincerely,
Jen
