iframe possible in wordpress but not on my worpress blog

  Hello

  I am trying to set up my blog http://oostblog.wordpress.com/
  After trying over twenty times I managed to insert an iframe-code (of google maps). I don’t know what I did but after the twentieth time it worked!
  Now I want to put the same map of google maps on my side bar. Is that possible?

  Down at the bottom it says:
  “Unfortunately, you can not add Google Maps to your sidebar. You could use the Email or IM link from Google Maps and place it in a text widget.”
