  Why doesn’t WordPress allow the use of iframes? Every other blog does and it severely limits the things I can post on my blog.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Iframes are a security risk and our WordPress.com blogs are not free standing. This is a multiuser blogging platform whereon our blogs all share a common architecture and one instance of bad code could bring down many blogs. To use them you can hire a web host http://wordpress.org/hosting/ and set up a free standing WordPress.org install so the only risk is to it and not to any other sites. http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
