IFTTT only posts to custom post type…

  So on my godaddy hosted site (KrakenBarbell.com), I am trying to use IFTTT to post from youtube to a new wordpress post. I finally got it to do ‘something’, but it’s not what I was shooting for. A while back I made a “custom post type” which is labled “workouts” on the left side, and everytime IFTTT fires, it ends up there. I don’t want it to end up there, I want it to be in my regular posts. I tried disabling the “custom post plugin” and it made the post type go away, but the posts still don’t go to the regular posting option.

  Furthermore, when it posts to the custom post type, the post is greyed out and is unable to even be clicked on (the 3 top posts in the menu)

  I’m at a loss, nothing is turning up of any of my searches. Thanks in advance for the help. I’ve included a picture to show what I’m seeing.
