IG widget not showing up on homepage

  IG widget not showing up on homepage – infact i can only get it to show up on my “contact” section.

  Hi there, are you talking about your site at lifeofmacs.wordpress.com? If so, it looks like your theme, Gazette, is designed this way. It doesn’t display a sidebar except on Pages, like your About or Contact page, or on single posts like lifeofmacs.wordpress.com/2018/01/29/chalkboard-wall (where the IG widget does show up). Category pages like Parenting and Beauty, display posts like the theme’s front page. Since you only seem to have one published post, it isn’t so obvious.
