Illegal use of name

    Hello,

    Is it possible to claim the blog if it uses my Name/Surname? I mean somebody else register a blog under my name e.g. elthonjohn.wordpress.com but I am the actual Elthon John. Can I ask wordpress.com to close this blog?

    Hi there
    If it’s available, anyone can use any name they want. There are no rules against that. There could well be another “elthonjohn” out there. You might try contacting the person who registered it and ask them if they would be willing to transfer it to you.
